Adult Opportunities for Fellowship & Worship:

Sunday Morning Worship-Summer Worship begins at 9:40am  Fall-Spring Worship begins at 10:40am
Our service offers a blend of traditional and contemporary features. Old-time gospel favorites tastefully combined with modern praise songs are skillfully led by either our adult or our youth praise bands. Other music groups — including children’s and adult bell choirs and an instrumental ensemble — also inspire participants in worship. Communion — or The Lord’s Supper — is celebrated each week and reminds us of God’s love and grace for all through Christ’s sacrifice.

Sunday School (September-May)
Each Sunday morning during the school year our church offers Sunday School classes for all ages. Sunday School begins at 9:30am and concludes in time for worship at 10:30am.

Fellowship Dinners and Game Nights
There are many occasions for fellowship and getting to know one another better. Announcements about these are printed in the church newsletter and in each week’s Sunday morning worship bulletin.

Christian Women’s Fellowship (CWF)
CWF, Christian Women’s Fellowship, is a group of women from the church family joining together for fun, fellowship and spiritual growth.  Current offerings given through CWF help to support Disciples Mission Finance, sending staff of the division to overseas ministries in 30 countries.  The Disciples Mission Finance also provide care for children and the elders in benevolent homes in the United States.   The Ladies of CWF also help locally in the ministries of Cove Christian Camp.

Early in our churches history it is noted that when money was scarce and the church’s mortgage due, the women of the church put on dinners and the first of the Round Up Breakfasts to raise enough money to pay off the mortgage.

If you would like to participate in this ministry we have two small groups.  Priscilla Group  meets on the 1st Wednesday of the month at 10am in different members homes for desert, study and worship. Naomi Group meets the 2nd Tuesday of the month at 11:30am at the Saddle Restaurant for a no host lunch and worship. On the 3rd Wednesday of the month the CWF Group has a luncheon at noon in the Fellowship hall of the Church.  This is served by one of the small groups and consists of a lunch and a special program.  All of the ladies of the church are always welcome to join in the fun and fellowship of this historic group.  Please check the church calendar for current meeting times and locations.
