The members and friends of Pendleton’s First Christian Church welcome you. We are honored to have you with us!  Our desire and prayer is that you will find in us a community of faith – a family – in which you can find a home. As we join together in life, in faith, and in shared ministry our lives are wonderfully touched, others are blessed, and God is glorified. The aim of our congregation is that we be a church family in which

God is present,
Love is shown,
and Lives are changed.

Pendleton First Christian Church is a part of The Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), a Protestant denomination born in the early 1800's in the frontier region of Pennsylvania, eastern Kentucky, western Virginia, and Ohio. From the beginning days, Christian unity has been the polar and guiding principle of the Christian Church.

Our congregations are autonomous (self-governing), but cooperate to support the work of the regional and international church organizations. The symbol of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) is a red chalice bearing the Cross of Saint Andrew, lifting up our Scottish Presbyterian roots.

Thus, we encourage you to read this brochure and discover more about our ministry. You may find something that interests you, or perhaps you’ll have questions that we could help answer for you.  Please feel free to review this example of our normal Sunday Worship Bulletin.  We would also like you to feel welcome to join in the Fellowship Time following worship downstairs in the fellowship hall, we always have at least a light snack and beverages to enjoy.  Above all, thank you for blessing us with your visit. Please let us know if we can assist you in any way!

In Christian Love,

Marc Mullins, Pastor
